  • Oakland ranked 14th in the nation in stolen bases per game (1.9) and led The Summit League with 95

  • Aaron Wick became the first player to throw a nine-inning, complete game shutout in Oakland's division I era

  • The Golden Grizzlies also ranked in the top-50 nationally in total stolen bases (25th), sacrifice flies (36th) and double plays per game (42nd)

  • Tommy Jablonski ranked 62nd in the NCAA with six sacrifice flies, he was also 90th nationally in doubles per game (.35)

  • Ryan Waldhart and Jablonski both earned first team All-Summit League honors

  • Jablonski's 15 doubles during the 2011 season ranked ninth best in school history. He also finished his career top-5 in career assists and eighth in games played

  • Jake Arendsen became the school's career leader in appearances with 76 over his four years

  • OU earned a road win over Michigan State, only the third win over MSU in school history

  • Todd Dunham and Tim Ryan both had 16 stolen bases, which tied for third most in The Summit League

  • Oakland had the third highest batting average in the league and struck out only 277 times, the second fewest in the league

  • OU finished the season with a 5-2 record against schools from the Mid-American Conference

  • Jeff Gorecki led Oakland with three saves and the Golden Grizzlies were third in the league with 10 saves this season

  • Waldhart finished his career seventh in career putouts and 10th in games played

  • OU placed 16 players on The Summit League All-Academic team, including four that earned Distinguished Scholar honors
