SUMMIT LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

  • Won their 12th straight Summit League Championship and are 33-0 in conference championships in school history.

  • Oakland defeated Wayne State, Wright State, Eastern Michigan, Cleveland State, Xavier, Cincinnati and Michigan State on their way to a 6-2 record.

  • Marcin Unold was named The Summit League Swimmer of the Year for the second time in his career.

  • Unold was named Summit League Swimmer of the Championships after winning the 100 and 200 backstroke and swam on five championship relays

  • Jordan Zendejas was named The Summit League Diver of the Year.

  • Zendejas was named Summit League Diver of the Championships after winning the 1- and 3-meter springboard events. He competed at the NCAA Diving Zones

  • Amr el Sayed, Nick Evans, Tobias Hansen and Unold all earned Mid-Major All-America honorable mention honors.

  • Hansen set a school record in the 200 IM at 1:48.01 and Evans set a school in the 1650 freestyle.
