- Placed in the top-three in the league for the eighth time in the last ten years
- Tied for best ever finish at the Great Lakes Regional

Won the Michigan Intercollegiates (Oct. 8) by 24 points over Eastern Michigan for the first time in school history
- Finished in the top 10 at the Chile Pepper Festival (Oct. 17) finishing ahead of Auburn, Houston, LSU and TCU.
- Zack Jones placed second at The Summit League Championship becoming the third runner in school history to earn all-league honors four times.
- Jones ran the second fastest 10K in school history at 30:32.01 on Oct. 17 at the Chili Pepper Festival.
- Jones was given the Athletic Department's Hollie L. Lepley Award for recognition of the male senior student-athlete that demonstrates the highest athletic achievement , academic achievement and community service.
- Pat Cassady won his first race of his collegiate career at the Golden Grizzly Open on Sept. 4.
- Cassady won The Summit League Cross Country Athletes of the Week on Oct. 12 after winning the Michigan Intercollegiates.
