  • Oakland finished in the top three of the league standings for the eighth time in league history

  • Defeated Illinois (Big Ten) and Clemson (ACC), marking the first time the school has beaten two BCS conference opponents in the same season. OU also took Big Ten regular season runner-up Penn State to overtime in the team's home opener

  • Beckie Francis earned her 100th Summit League victory and her 200th victory as head coach at Oakland

  • Bethany Watterworth was named first team All-Summit League as a sophomore averaging a team-best 17.8 points and 3.6 assists per game. She also averaged 6.8 rebounds per game

  • Watterworth ranked 39th in the country in points scored per game and ranked second in The Summit League in scoring

  • Seniors Kirstie Malone and Anna Patritto finished their four-year careers with 83 wins; that total is more than any other class in OU's Division I history

  • Brittany Carnago finished the year ranked 12th in the nation averaging 2.9 blocks per game. Carnago's 194 career blocks rank 3rd all-time at OU and 7th best in The Summit League

  • Carnago earned national recognition as the first ever recipient of the Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Postgraduate Scholarship and also earned a spot on the Division I-AAA ADA Scholar Athlete team

  • Oakland defeated Oral Roberts 96-62 in the largest semifinal upset in Summit League history

  • OU finished fifth in the nation for fewest fouls committed per game, 16th in assist-to-turnover ratio, 17th in assists per game and 23rd in blocked shots per game

  • Bethany Watterworth averaged a team-best 17.8 points, 6.8 rebounds per game and 3.6 assists per game en route to being named All-Summit League first team

  • Sharise Calhoun was fifth in The Summit League shooting 83.7 percent from the free-throw line, which also ranked 45th nationally

  • Seniors Kirstie Malone and Anna Patritto finished their four-year careers with a Division I school record 83 wins

  • OU earned WBCA Academic Honor Roll Top 25 honors with the 16th highest team GPA in the NCAA (3.399)

  • The Golden Grizzlies placed 10 players on The Summit League All-Academic team
